Dynamite Headdy - Japanese Version Playthrough

This is a playthrough of the Japanese version of Dynamite Headdy, the classic Treasure title, and one of my favourite games of all time.

3 years ago, I made some videos about the changes between this and the English versions, but it was a little irritating to make, so I ended up forgetting about it half-way through. I think it will be more fun to watch this playthrough and spot the differences for yourself. I even applied an English patch so you can understand the dialogue. The main difference is that the Japanese version is slightly easier for various reasons.

I didn't show the entire ending, because it just goes on and on and on. Instead, I included the Final Final Battle from another playthrough. I did this because playing the basketball game to get the four numbers isn't much fun, watching it less so. (Note: The code changes with every playthrough, so the code from this video won't work)

Please note that this is a normal playthrough of the game and NOT a speed run, so I make some dumb mistakes here and there. I also had to put up with a slight lag from the recording.

I dedicate this playthrough to Brain Christopher Poore, AKA bpblu. He was as big a fan of this fantastic game as I am, and it was one of the reasons we first met. I hope he can still play the game up in there in Heaven.
