Have you ever wondered why Lord Brahma is not worshipped in temples? 🕉️ According to the Shiv Puran, a great battle once broke out between Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu, each claiming to be supreme. Their divine weapons shook the entire cosmos, and the gods rushed to Lord Shiva on Mount Kailash for help. Shiva appeared as an infinite pillar of fire (Jyotirlinga), challenging both Brahma and Vishnu to find its end.

Vishnu humbly accepted defeat when he could not find the base. But Brahma, on the other hand, lied that he had reached the top and even took the false testimony of the Ketaki flower 🌸. Angered by this deceit, Lord Shiva cut off Brahma’s fifth head and cursed him that he would never be worshipped by mankind.
