Wasaga Beach Driving Tour - The World's Longest Freshwater Beach

This video follows Mosley Street in the Town of Wasaga Beach, Ontario as we follow this famous beach town's main arterial road from beach area 6 in the west to the main beach area one.

The town of Wasaga Beach sits on the southern shores of Nottawasaga Bay along the longest freshwater beach in the world at a length of 14 kilometres. Located one hour and a half north of Toronto, Ontario, Wasaga Beach is one of the premier beach destinations in Ontario attracting over 2 million visitors every summer. Despite this, much of the town's historic beachfront was destroyed in a fire in 2007 and has yet to be redeveloped for a variety of reasons. As a result, Wasaga Beach has been declining in popularity in the last decade
