WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG: The most ambitious Timetable Challenge yet to Newcastle and Carlisle.

I was determined to make Timetable Challenge #3 memorable, but it was to be memorable for the wrong reasons. I caught LNER to Newcastle, explored the Newcastle Metro, caught a Northern Trains service to Carlisle and then the problems began.
