Celebrating two years of Space Park Leicester

Space Park Leicester, the city’s hub for space research and innovation, is now two years old.

Officially opened by British astronaut Tim Peake in 2022, Space Park is a unique single-site science and innovation park dedicated to – and specifically designed for – space-related companies and researchers, covering enterprise, innovation, outreach and teaching.

Owned and operated by the University of Leicester, the pioneering park provides cutting-edge facilities that are enabling a range of projects and missions across the Leicester space portfolio.
