Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer joined Sky News Australia to discuss a growing trend where lifelong Democrat voters are turning to the Republican Party.

His remarks come as the US federal election is less than a month away.

“Basically everyone that I know in my family who is not a crazy leftie – who is at least a reasonable, pragmatic, centrist, moderate, minded person – they’re basically all voting for Donald Trump,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
