Button remapping should be a standard feature in all video games, especially console games. Handicapped gamers who have limited mobility or use of their hands have a very difficult time playing most console games. They are a crafty lot and mod controllers, or use objects to press hard to reach buttons but some games are just unplayable due the control schemes. The default 2-4 options aren't terribly useful in most cases. What would be best is to allow gamers to fully remap buttons as they see fit. Not only would this allow handicapped gamers to play more games, but it would be much more convenient for all gamers. No longer would you be bound by control schemes that you may not like. You can simply remap the bindings to your liking!
