A video demonstrating how to play the Stairway To Heaven Live Guitar Solo from Earls Court 1975.

The equipment I used to record this song was an Epiphone Les Paul Gold Top, and the AmpKit amp on my iPhone. The preset I used was Plexi Copy for the dirty/crunch parts, and Modern clean for the clean intro with an added chorus effect.

The Earls Court 1975 show was a performance released on DVD by Led Zeppelin in 2003. It was part of a two disc package that also featured performances from the Royal Albert hall in 1970 and Knebworth in 1979. It features one of the best guitar solo’s from Jimmy Page and also one of the longest so I decided to make a cover of it.
