CeeDee Lamb skipping Cowboys’ OTAs is not a surprise. That’s been the expectation for a while now. And while it’s not a holdout, just pretending there’s nothing going on here is just burying heads in the sand. Lamb wants a new deal. He doesn’t have one. Until he does, he might not show up.

Micah Parsons is also not at the start of Cowboys’ OTAs, but that might be temporary. Parsons, per the Dallas Morning News, is expected to report next week, for the 2nd round of OTAs. In the meantime, he’s working out with a trainer. This is a different scenario than Lamb’s, because it’s not contract-related.

Cowboys news from Micah Parsons on if he’s bothered by fans doubting him: “It doesn’t bother me because I know I’m putting in the work. It more bothers me that people would think that I’m not doing everything I imagine possible to be the best player I can be to help win a championship. It’s more of that. … The greatness, the spirit, it’s all in me, and I want it more than anybody. “The [playoff] loss hurts. I’m not worried about no money, no nothing. That failure sits deep more than anything else.”
