Some off-the-cuff playing on my PDP Concept Maple Classic set.

The setup here is LM402 snare drum, 26x14 bass drum, 13x9 rack tom, and an 18x16 floor tom. Cymbals are all Paiste; 2002 hats and ride, PST7 crashes. Hats are 15 SE, ride is 24-inch medium, and crashes are 18 and 19-inch mediums. The drums are all tensioned quite tightly--big-band era style!

Mic setup is very minimal: some very cheap MXL condenser as overhead, SM57 on the snare (though I hardly used it in the mix), and a Beta52a on the bass drum. Most of the sound is coming from the condenser.
