Nifty Atop 23,000, Sensex Up 100 Points; L&T, HDFC Bank Lead Rally | CNBC TV18

According to latest market updates, the Sensex was up 99.99 points or 0.13 percent at 75,518.03, and the Nifty was up 35.00 points or 0.15 percent at 23,002.70. About 1647 shares advanced, 1667 shares declined, and 93 shares unchanged.

BPCL, L&T, Bharti Airtel, HDFC Bank and UltraTech Cement were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were TCS, ITC, Tata Consumer, Adani Ports and Asian Paints

On the sectoral front, the capital goods, oil & gas up 1% each, while FMCG, realty down 0.5% each.

BSE Midcap index up 0.7% and Smallcap index up 0.3% each.
