My name is Bronwyn Boyd. I'm an obstetrician and gynecologist, and I chose this because I enjoy taking care of women in all aspects of their life to allow me to provide a complete and comprehensive care.

What I enjoy the most about my job is that I am able to create an environment that is safe for women of all ages and for all areas of their life that they may be experiencing. I'm able to create a environment that is supportive, but also nurturing and allow them to feel like they're heard, allow them to be able to tell me things that they may not want to tell anyone else. It's a very special privilege that I, as a provider, get to provide. And some days it might be the happiest moment of their life, and sometimes it might be one of the saddest moments of their life. But, my goal is always to be there and be supportive.

I grew up in northern Minnesota in a town called Bemidji. I went to undergrad there at Bemidji State University, and then I moved to Kansas City where I went to medical school at Kansas City University. And then I went to residency in Kansas City and then moved to Louisville with my husband for his job.

I enjoy spending time with our two dogs. I like to go hiking. I love working out, doing yoga, reading, traveling, going to restaurants.
