Rhythmic Flow - More Seated, Some Standing. Feel the rhythm of the yoga movements as we move to the beat of the music. This is an active practice and those new to a flowing practice often note the physical challenge it presents. Just making it through a class without taking breaks may provide an initial sense of accomplishment. #WithMe

Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to Stay Home #WithMe and spend this time together to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body.

This 30 minute rhythmic flow is a sequence of poses coordinated to move with each breath and choreographed to sync with the rhythm of the music. Feel the rhythm of the yoga movements as we move to the beat of the music, with my cues and then without. It can be a very peaceful and relaxing (i.e. zen) yoga flow, especially when I stop talking and we just move to the music. Because we will eventually move to the music without my cues, it’s best to do this flow once you have completed a few Bottoms Down yoga practices and are more familiar with the movements.

You’ll only need a chair. We’ll start seated, move to standing and return to seated.
