Astley Green Colliery Lancashire Mining Museum

Описание к видео Astley Green Colliery Lancashire Mining Museum

Walking Industrial History. Last Man Standing. With thanks to Stewart and Sue Brown, Marilyn and Carol and also Dave Mills. Sadly I have miss names Stewart and Sue on the Video, but hey, that now makes it a collectors edition.

Astley Green Colliery was sunk in 1908 closing 1970. With its magnificent headgears stretching over 90 feet into the Lancashire sky and it's colossal winding Engine, the Museum is a must for all mining enthusiasts and those wishing to learn about our industrial heritage. Join Dave and myself as we take a guided tour of the site and get dressed up as a couple of old Pitmen
