Amrita Center for Wireless Networks & Applications along with Amrita Center for International Programs will host a free webinar on Safe, Reliable & Contactless Energy Transfer on July 25th, 4:00pm to 5:30pm through Microsoft Teams. Dr. Prasanth Venugopal, Assistant Professor, Power Electronics & EMC group, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Twente, Netherlands will be delivering the session.

Topic such as Wireless Power Transfer, Inductive Power Transfer (IPT), Multi-coil IPT Systems, Multi-Frequency IPT Systems, Wireless Power for Drones and Industrial Implementation will be covered. The webinar is open to all students from science and engineering background.

About Dr. Prasanth Venugopal
Dr. Prasanth is currently working as an assistant professor at University of Twente, Netherlands. He did his bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, India and masters in Electrical Power Engineering from TU Delft He did his PhD at TU Delft, Before joining U Twente, he worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer, Qualcomm Halo, Munich, Germany and Technical Specialist/Manager TDK Europe Gmbh (EPCOS), Munich, Germany.
