Introduction:
Let’s look at when, why and how we should use warmers, fillers and brain breaks to boost our learners’ motivation, confidence and receptiveness to learn. Let’s help our learners to participate in our lessons with an open mind and focus.

First, during this session we will look at the definitions, benefits and science behind warmers, fillers and brain breaks. Then we will discuss and share good practice.

This workshop will be practical where I will share some of my ideas and I would like to invite you to share things that you do during lessons. I hope that you leave this workshop feeling motivated with practical ideas that you can use in your lessons and confident with the science of when and why to use them.
