COTSWOLD England WALK from PAINSWICK to CHELTENHAM

Take a relaxing walk with me in Cotswold England. Today we walk from the town of Painswick to Cheltenham Spa. The walk starts in Painswick, a town not far from Gloucester England. Soon we enter Beechwoods National Park, one of the last great beechwood forests left in Europe. The trees in the forest are magnificent to walk through.

About halfway through the walk, we come to the Cotswold Way, the most famous walking path in all of the Cotswolds and one of the most famous routes in all of England. This section of the Cotswold Way follows a ridge all the way to the town of Cheltenham Spa.

The views of the countryside are magnificent as we walk along the ridge. The highlight of the walk on this part is the famous rock formation known as the Devil's Chimney. Once we reach this landmark, it is straight into Cheltenham Spa.
