Museums Victoria currently holds around 20,000 cultural items from the wider Pacific, a vast array of taonga, measina or cultural treasures, with many pieces originating from the 19th and early 20th centuries. The museum eagerly connects Pacific communities with these pieces from the past, most recently, a delegation from Samoa.
