„… der wird euch mit dem Heiligen Geist und mit Feuer taufen.“ So hat Johannes der Täufer die Israeliten auf Jesus vorbereitet. Und dann kam Jesus … und von Anfang an war klar: Er ist nicht wie die anderen Leiter, die sie kannten. Er hatte Vollmacht. Jesus war vom Heiligen Geist abhängig – er brauchte ihn in allen Dingen. Der Heilige Geist ist das Feuer, das in ihm brannte. Wenn du brennend für Jesus ein willst, dann brauchst du eines: die Taufe mit Heiligen Geist und Feuer!

„… he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.“ That‘s how John the Baptist prepared the people of Israel for Jesus … right from the start he stuck out: He wasn‘t like any of the other leaders. He had power! Jesus was dependent on the Holy Spirit - he needed him all the time. The fire burning in him was the Holy Spirit. If you want to be on fire for Jesus, you need one thing alone: the baptism with the Holy Spirit and with fire!
