Lap Joint Flanges with Stub Ends | AutoCAD Plant 3D Demo

Описание к видео Lap Joint Flanges with Stub Ends | AutoCAD Plant 3D Demo

A typical flanged connection in AutoCAD® Plant 3D has three components – the flanges, the gasket, and the bolt set. A Lap Joint Flange is a two-component assembly that consists of a stub end welded to the pipe and a flange ring that rotates to align with the mating flange. It can be beneficial in large piping systems or where frequent dismantling for maintenance is required, but this connection requires the fourth component of the stub end. To accomplish this in the software, you must have the necessary components in the spec with all the appropriate end types and the joints and facings defined in the Piping Connection Settings.
