I had to dump my bike at the end of this canal

Sorting through my filmmaking gear, getting stuck in blanket weed, having to moor overnight in the middle of the cut, cringeing at the biggest UK spider I’ve ever seen, cranking some huge locks with a mate and trying to find a place to leave my bike - all this on the day before before filming started on the second series of my TV show Canal Boat Diaries!
