Election Results 2017: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will learn today whether his popularity is sufficient to clinch a win for his party in Uttar Pradesh, the country's most populous state, where the BJP's sights are set on a big win. Counting of votes in UP and four other states has begun and the first leads showed the BJP leading in four seats, Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party in two and the Bahujan Samaj Party in two. These are very early rounds and things can change completely.
