Lo Mai Fan 糯米飯 | Chinese Sticky Rice Recipe

Today we will learn how to make Chinese sticky rice, also known as lo mai fan 糯米飯. You can find Chinese sticky rice at dim sum places or Chinese restaurants. Lo Mai Fan is similar to lo mai gai (Lotus wrapped sticky rice)    • Lo Mai Gai - 糯米雞 | Rice In Lotus Leaf  

The process of making Chinese sticky rice is similar to regular fried rice, just using different ingredients. For our sticky rice we will be using cured pork belly, chinese sausage, shiitake mushroom and dried shrimp. Feel free to change the ingredients to your personal preferences. In this lo mai fan recipe I will show you a simple way on how to make Chinese sticky rice without a rice cooker.
