Let the adventure begin. Who has a head for heights? Who dares to climb this spectacular structure, which is now complete? The "Todtnau" suspension bridge with a span of 450 meters and a weight of 120 tons seems completely weightless despite its height of 120 meters. It hangs in the very south of Germany in the Black Forest, near Todtnau.

Standing and walking up here is an uplifting feeling, almost like flying. Suddenly, we are practically hovering at eye level with the falcon and can see the large waterfall below us. The meadow valley on one side and really like an eagle's nest at the top. It's a very, very special experience, I have to say.

Roland Haag, now a proud bridge builder, is responsible for this and everything else. A huge gut feeling. It's sensational how happy the people are who go on it and how happy they come back and say: "Mega!" There's no other way to describe it. You've really created something that makes people happy.

The creation process took nine months. The actual construction work could only really start once these two steel cables had been tensioned. This fantastic construction aimed to make the Todtnau waterfall, 97 meters high and Germany's second highest outside the Alps, more accessible.
