#Nagaland has always had a special place in my heart. It fills me up with nostalgia, love and so much contentment. But #Nagaland wasn't this 5 years ago. There were no homestays, no tourists. The locals had no source of income other than farming. And that's when NEIDA came into the picture. They're an associate organisation of the TATA trusts and they're helping develop alternate livelihoods like #ecotourism in remote villages of #Nagaland. While there's development, the 'feel' of the place is intact and a huge reason behind that is that there are no outsiders coming in, telling the locals what to do. It is the younger Naga generation that is helping the development in a way that the vibe doesn't get lost. I'm in absolute awe of the amazing work they're doing.
