BRAVE books are so awesome! There are five sagas, which are kind of like seasons in the BRAVE “universe”. They all take place on Freedom Island, and there’s a map in the front of each book showing the location of this particular story. The characters go throughout each of the five sagas, and you learn their back stories And struggles.
Each book has an important lesson, often complex, that is broken down through the telling a great story. We love these books, and would highly recommend checking them out! 

This story tells part of the origin story of Freedom Island. The legends fought for freedom against the evil Black Heart. Instead of embracing comfort and ease, they chose the courageous path of freedom.
