The #kalash (kalasha) is a prominent Vedic symbol which represents creation. The vacant pot, symbolizes earth, and the water filled symbolizes the primordial water from which life began on earth. Life began in water and nothing can exist in this world without water.The water in the kalash symbolises the primordial water from which the entire creation emerged. The leaves and coconut represent creation. The thread represents the love that "binds" all in creation.
In #Hinduism, the Kalasha is considered to be a symbol of #abundance and the 'source of life'. As noted above, the coconut contains auspicious properties that make up the 'elixir of life' – attributing wisdom and immortality with the Kalasha.
Here I drawn very simple #Kalashkolam which can be drawn on any #festivals #newyear #ugadi and during rituals in our home.
