Traditional vs Modern New Zealand Food in Auckland! | Fish and Chips + Fine Dining

Today we challenge the old adage that is "Reject modernity, embrace tradition" as we pit traditional vs modern New Zealand food in Auckland! We'll be eating at 2 classic Auckland spots serving very different types of Kiwi food in the New Zealand culinary timeline!

The first stop is Ahi in Commercial Bay. A fine dining hotspot serving fresh reinventions and modern interpretations of New Zealand cuisine with the finest ingredients across the land.

We end the day with some classic Fish & Chips at a legendary spot called Fish Smith. Come with us as we grab some fried goods to eat by the sea in less than ideal and very frigid winter conditions but who cares if you've got a beautiful sea view!
