Mobile Home Demolition (with Some Unforeseen Drama for Good Measure!)

In this video, we're demolishing a mobile home that has major damage from Hurricane Helene as part of our commitment to giving back to our community. But y'all know no good deed goes unpunished, and this mobile home demolition and removal is no exception! Won't be long 'til we get an unwelcome visitor with no shoulders, someone goes to the ER with a head injury, annnnnd the landfill catches fire.

Our Mission
A young couple who are friends with Brandon, GreenGo Recycling's ops manager, nearly lost their lives when a huge tree fell on their bedroom during Hurricane Helene. Fortunately they escaped unharmed, but their home has to be demolished. Insurance doesn't necessarily cover these costs, and demolition, hauling, and dump fees can put a job like this in the $10,000 range. We were glad to be able to help them out by providing these services to them at no cost. With Brandon in the drivers seat, our Kobelco excavator went to work demoing this home.

🗣️Shout-out to our friends at Greene Farms Trucking in Jackson, SC. They're a local hauling company that came to the landfill to load up our Kobelco SK210, transported it to the job site, and will be taking it back when we're done - all at no charge. We really appreciate their generosity!
