The honorable chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Aditya Nath ji announced the formation of "Uttar Pradesh State Capital Region" on the lines of national capital region in a video conferencing of all development Authorities of Uttar Pradesh and UP housing and development board.
The senior officers of development of housing and urban planning has started to prepare the proposal for UPSCR.
Total seven districts has been taken for this process including six nearby district of Lucknow namly Unnao, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Raibareilly, Barabanki & Sitapur .
