At last! Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) has finally begun to offer a hardcover option! Here's an overview of how to publish a hardcover book of your own on Amazon KDP! Take a look at this comprehensive walkthrough and stick around to the end for an unboxing of a proof and an actual copy to see how they stack up to KDP's other offerings.

Currently, KDP only offers a case laminate hardcover (not dust jacket). For dust jacket hardcover books, I recommend Ingram Spark or Lulu (though I prefer Ingram's quality and distribution).

NOTE: I filmed this video about a year ago, when hardcover was still in beta, so some of the interface has changed slightly, but the overall process is still the same :) Let me know in the comments if there are any glaring items I missed that may have changed.
