This advanced-level barefoot massage class empowers the experienced ashiatsu barefoot massage therapist, to work with more complex single and double footed strokes, potentially applying their full bodyweight as “kneaded.” Strokes are performed with the client in prone, supine and side body positions, while the therapist massages from varying angles of pressure to achieve a safe, deep, myofascial barefoot massage focusing on structural alignment.

Advance Ashiatsu is about being more detailed and specific, learning how to use one foot to pin and the other to work in vectors, and working with myofascial layers. Its also about assessing spinal conditions and knowing when/where/how to use two feet(OR NOT), or complex one-footed strokes that can be just as effective.

Class time is usually 9 am-6 pm every day with a 1-hour lunch at 12 pm.

2 DAYS, 16 CE'S, $447

Prerequisites: FasciAshi Fundamentals & Intermediate Supine/ Side body (OR proof of your previous 16-24 CE hour beginner level Ashiatsu training). We will require a video for verification of your skill level.)
