Tesla Motors, Inc. is an American automotive and energy storage company[5] that designs, manufactures, and sells luxury[6] electric cars, electric vehicle powertrain components, and battery products.[7] Tesla Motors is a public company that trades on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the symbol TSLA.[8] In the first quarter of 2013, Tesla posted profits for the first time in its history.[9]
Tesla first gained widespread attention following their production of the Tesla Roadster, the first fully electric sports car.[10] The company's second vehicle is the Model S, a fully electric luxury sedan, which was followed by the Model X, a crossover. Its next vehicle is the Model 3.[11] Global Model S sales passed the 100,000 unit milestone in December 2015, three years and a half after its introduction.[12] The Model S was the world's best selling plug-in electric vehicle in 2015.[13] As of December 2015, the Model S ranks as the world's second best selling plug-in car in history after the Nissan Leaf.[13]
Tesla also markets electric powertrain components, including lithium-ion battery packs to automakers including Daimler and Toyota.[14] CEO Elon Musk has said that he envisions Tesla Motors as an independent automaker,[15] aimed at eventually offering electric cars at prices affordable to the average consumer.[16][17] Pricing for the Tesla Model 3 is expected to start at US$35,000 before any government incentives, and deliveries are expected to begin by 2017.[18][19] In 2015, Tesla announced Tesla Energy, a suite of batteries for homes (Powerwall), businesses, and utilities (Powerpack).
Model 3's interior design looks modern and cutting-edge. The driving position is highly adjustable and feels great, and the cabin is surprisingly roomy thanks to its minimalistic approach and all-glass roof. Forward visibility is also fantastic thanks to the lack of an engine and the corresponding low hoodline.
The Model 3's trunk can hold far more than you'd expect thanks to a broad pass-through and SUV-like fold-flat rear seats. The trunk's stated capacity (15 cubic feet) isn't that impressive compared to what you get from other luxury compact sedans, but we were able to fit an extra-large mountain bike with ease.
Inside, cabin storage is pretty decent, which is something we can't say about the other Tesla models. However, since the front cupholders lack anti-tip tabs, cups and bottles aren't likely to fit snugly. The car seat anchors are tucked tightly between the
seat cushions, so you must take care to avoid scratching the leather as you hook up. Once in, even rear-facing car seats will fit behind an average-size driver.

Fair use is a doctrine in the United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as for commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching or scholarship. It provides for the legal, non-licensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author’s work under a four-factor balancing test. The term “fair use” originated in the United States. A similar principle, fair dealing, exists in some other common law jurisdictions. Civil law jurisdictions have other limitations and exceptions to copyright.
