Mr. Firechild tested the prototype of the Behringer VC340 vocoder / string-ensemble and compared it to the original, the Roland VP-330.

I played some similar things on the Roland Boutique VP-03 Vocoder (another "clone" of the VP-330, digital and compact sized) und put all together for a direct comparison.
Everything was recorded clean, without any processing or fx, direct into Logic Pro X - the pure signal from the VP-03.
