Ahoy, chaos lovers—today’s episode of Super Mario RPG sails right off the rails and into pure, glorious nonsense.

We start off by teaching Johnny Jones, the pirate shark, a lesson in “why you don’t mess with plumbers on a mission.” He’s got style, he’s got swag, he’s got a whole underwater aesthetic—but spoiler alert: he doesn’t have our Star Piece. Because Yaridovich, the world’s creepiest discount sword-wearing Slenderman, steals it back at Seaside Town. Rude.

Then we take a wild detour to Land’s End, which is not, in fact, a quaint retail store, but a vertical fever dream of platforms, puzzles, and Belome’s Temple. Yes, Belome is back—still drooling, still weird, and now running some kind of personal cult/shrine. Therapy clearly never happened.

From there, we stumble into Monstro Town, where Bowser’s former minions have started a support group, and in an actual tender moment, the big guy gives his blessing. We didn’t cry, you cried.

Finally, we trek to Bean Valley, where a GIANT, ANGRY PIRANHA PLANT makes gardening look like full-contact sport. It’s wild, it’s weird, and we loved every second.
