Ep. 19 - West Coast Fossil Park (South Africa) and gardens

Hello everyone, today on SA Today, we look at the West Coast Fossil Park in South Africa (SA). Join us on a journey to discover a world when the West Coast was wild and lush. Located close to Langebaan in the Western Cape of South Africa, the West Coast Fossil Park is home to an incredible array of animal fossils that roamed the area some 5 million years ago. In this video you will see the remains of the African bear, sabre-tooth cats, short-necked giraffes and many other exotic creatures that once inhabited this land.

The tour takes us through the new Visitor Centre we highly recommend. You'll find an exhibition hall, restaurant, shop, amphitheatre, and conference facilities here.
