Dinosaur names are tricky to pronounce (let alone to spell).

Take this one for example: Tanycolagreus.

Try saying it out loud. Kind of tricky, huh?
But why are dinosaur names so hard to say and spell? It's all because of a guy named Carl Linnaeus who decided that Latin and Greek names were a good way to catalogue plant and animal life.

In this video, we pitted our staff together in a spelling bee. Find out who the best speller is out of five of our staff members!!!

BTW, Daxiatitan is actually pronounced Da-shya-titan.
