The Correctional Services Department says it is all systems go inmates sitting down to write their matric exams.

Up to 173 inmates across the country will write the 2024 National Senior Certificate exams.

The Department says it has provided a variety of support mechanisms including new technology to assist learners prepare for the exam and it is aiming for a 100% matric pass rate.
