Our youngest and I did a nice road trip, starting in Salt Lake City, and his two priorities bookended our travels. Major stops included Redwood National and Prairie Creek State Parks, Crater Lake NP, Craters of the Moon NM and Yellowstone NP, which included a 3-night backpack along the Skyrim Trail.
