Dobinsons was established in 1953 by a hard working Australian blacksmith man named, Reg Dobinson. Between his priority to produce quality work and strong attention to detail he was spending he free time repairing springs for friends. This built a great reputation for him and before he knew it, he spent several years working 7 days a week, 18 hours a day, and all holidays.

IMS Monotube shock absorbers elevate performance in challenging environments including extreme heat and rugged conditions. The monotube design have superior resistance to fade, particularly on rough terrain, extended 4WD expeditions, towing endeavors, and even racing scenarios.

With premium Fuchs oil and a sophisticated 3-stage sealing mechanism reminiscent of race standards, these shock absorbers deliver unparalleled smoothness while ensuring remarkable durability and longevity. They require minimal rebuilding or maintenance intervals.

With larger 50 and 60mm high flow pistons, internal pressures are reduced, minimizing heat generation and facilitating rapid heat dissipation through the body. This configuration enhances damping performance and vehicle control, especially at higher shaft velocities encountered on uneven surfaces and during substantial impacts.

The inclusion of threaded bodies on the struts enables precise adjustment of ride height, further optimizing cooling efficiency.
