2023 Nugget Best In The West Rib Cook-Off! - 09/01/23

The 2023 Nugget Best in the West Rib Cook-Off will take place from August 30th to September 4th at the Nugget Casino Resort in Reno, Nevada. More than 20 rib cookers will compete for the Best in the West title, with nearly a quarter million pounds of pork rib smoked and sauced over the extended Labor Day weekend. The event brings in more than 350,000 barbeque lovers every year. The competition can get fierce, with teams competing for first to fifth place, best sauce, and the people's choice award. The first place winner will receive $10,000.
