This game was the first official game for the long time Jr and Sr coach of the 10th Street Cardinals at the Peewee/9U level for coaches Joe Thomas and Rubin Morris. Well their team, 9U 10th Street Cardinals came out and performed well. Led by a dominating offensive line that helped the Cardinals rush for over 150 total yards and 3 rushing TDs. The Cardinals were led in the passing game by QB, #8 James Spaulding Jr. (AKA - KING) with 2 passing TDs to #11 Tremel Smith and King rushed for a TD as well. The Cardinals defense was swarming and hard hitting all day as the only score for the Lightning was on a kickoff return.
