Pete the Cat is a story about Cat named Pete. He has four colorful buttons on his shirt that he loves. As he goes about his day, one by one, the buttons pop off, but Pete stays calm and doesn't let it bother him. He keeps singing his song, "My buttons, my buttons, my groovy buttons," even as the buttons disappear. By the end, Pete realizes that even without the buttons, he still has his belly button, and he's just as happy as before.

Moral of the story : The story teaches kids the value of staying positive and not getting upset when things don't go as planned. It shows that things come and go, but what truly matters is ALWAYS KEEPING POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
