🗓️ Day 2: River Views, Fish Markets & Monsoon Meals in Candolim

We began our day soaking in the peaceful morning views of the Candolim-Nerul River, capturing some stunning drone shots as the monsoon mist hovered over the backwaters, the perfect start to a slow Goan morning.
Back at MirashyaHomes, we prepared a quick home-cooked breakfast using their fully-equipped kitchen, which comes with an electric gas stove, super convenient for a workcation setup.

Post-breakfast, we headed out to the Nerul Fish Market, a bustling spot just a short drive away. We picked up some fresh Bangda (mackerel), Crabs, Fish and prawns, and browsed through a variety of frozen seafood options on display.

Back home, we cooked a delicious Bangda fish fry lunch, enjoying the fresh sea fish while the monsoon drizzle continued outside. The kitchen setup and daily cleaning service at MirashyaHomes made everything effortless.

By evening, we stepped out to Newton’s Supermarket in Candolim to pick up some fine wine. We had plans to visit Brittos in Baga, but heavy rains and far-off parking made it tricky with our little one. Instead, we opted for a relaxed dinner at a local restaurant opposite Newton’s.

Manvi, had her own adventure, playing with colorful lighting toys from a street vendor — pure joy! We ended our day at the apartment, unwinding with a chilled People’s Goa Beer 🍺, as the river breeze and monsoon vibes took over.
