Grand Design Reflection Solar Install - 1200w, Victron Multiplus, Cerbo GX, 800ah of Battery

A couple wanting to boondock wherever they pleased and not make any compromises with their Grand Design Reflection.

These come with a 200w Furrion panel and charger, however we had some larger in mind.

We installed 1200 watts of 200w Rich Solar panels in a 3 series 2 parallel configuration utilizing the existing solar wiring. We fed that into a 150 by 100 amp Victron Smart Solar charger.

For batteries we utilized the front storage bay and made a battery carrier from 3/4 plywood to extend into the fiberglass front cap just a bit. This allowed us to make room for 800 ah of battery with little lost storage space.

Powering it all is a Multiplus II 3000kva 2x120 , allowing the coach to be fully working off grid or on 50 amp shore power.

We of course installed a cerbo GX and touch screen. We often find you have to run HDMI and USB extensions to get the screen in a place that's worth seeing.
