Chico (JM de Guzman) cannot contain his joy after Pia (Alyssa Muhlach) made their relationship official. Unknown to Chico, the news garnered an unexpected reaction from Betty (Arci Muñoz). Growing tired of Loida’s (Irma Adlawan) continuous harassment, Luz (Sylvia Sanchez) resigns from the company. However, Loida refuses to let her rival walk away unscathed. Loida then comes up with a plan that could disrupt the peace within the Mabunga family.

Determined to destroy the Mabunga family, Loida (Irma Adlawan) threatens to reveal to Elena (Rosanna Roces) what really happened to her firstborn son. Luz (Sylvia Sanchez) then warns Fernan (Joey Marquez) about his mistress' plan. Because of this, Fernan comes to a heartbreaking decision involving Chico (JM de Guzman). However, Chico catches Loida meeting up with Elena. Recalling Loida's manipulative nature, he becomes determined to find out the connection between the two women.

Hoping to find proof of Elena's connection with Loida (Irma Adlawan), Chico (JM de Guzman) and Betty (Arci Muñoz) reach out to Stefano. Loida, on the other hand, offers to help Fernan (Joey Marquez) deal with Elena under her terms. However, Loida's plans go awry when Luz (Sylvia Sanchez) accompanies her husband to their secret meeting. Not long after, the truth about Chico's identity unfolds.
