In this project I turn an extremely hard old English Walnut stump top into a large platter. I create an inlay with some crushed white stone which is set in epoxy resin. The walnut stump had been left after a tree was felled about 10 years ago. It was some of the hardest wood I've turned but it also had some rotten decayed edging.
