A verb is a doing word.

A verb describes an action (to run, to write), or a state of being (to be).
Verbs are conjugated (changed) according to who is doing the verb (person), and when the verb is being done (tense).

A plural verb is when more than one person is doing the verb.

In English, there are many tenses, including four simple tenses:
present, past, present perfect and future.
