How to bind the media keys on your keyboard, play, next, previous, mute using the sxhkd keyboard and the playerctl command to play, pause, moute the audio of videos playing in firefox, chromium or vlc.

If the video is in a playlist you can also move to the next or previous item in the playlist with hotkeys as well

I also cover setting up media keys on the ducky one 2 mini keyboard as well

note copy the _playerctl zsh completion to /usr/share/zsh/vendor-completions
rather than adding an fpath in your zshrc config file which slows down the shell start up tim

sudo mv _playerctl /usr/share/zsh/vendor-completions
