Sick of rote and monotonous tasks in SOLIDWORKS? Although they aren’t difficult in a technical sense, it can be overwhelming to do the same action many times over. This video goes over basic use of the Task Scheduler, an underutilized application included in the SOLIDWORKS Suite that will execute tasks at predetermined times and intervals. We will be using the “create drawings” function of the task scheduler and looking at how it works, going over drawing template creation, custom timing for the scheduler, and correct formatting so that you can use these techniques for other automated tasks.
